Warrawoona Village Construction, Marble Bar
Rangecon delivered the construction and installation of accommodation village facilities for the Warrawoona Gold Project in Western Australia’s Pilbara region.
The project involved the establishment of a fully operational village to support the site’s workforce, including accommodation buildings and essential communal facilities. Rangecon coordinated the civil works, building installation, services and supporting infrastructure required to deliver a safe, practical and comfortable remote accommodation facility.
The project scope included:
- Design and construct of a 240-person mining accommodation camp
- Site preparation and civil works
- Installation and complexing of accommodation buildings
- Mess, kitchen and administration facilities
- Laundries and recreational amenities
- Verandas, walkways and access structures
- Plumbing and electrical-services coordination
- Drainage, roads and car-parking areas
- Final fit-out, commissioning and handover
Delivered in a remote environment, the project required careful planning andcoordination of personnel, materials and subcontractors. Rangecon’smultidisciplinary capability enabled the village works to be managed efficientlyfrom site establishment through to completion.
