Underground Concreting
Rangecon was engaged to complete a comprehensive package of underground concrete works within an operational mining environment. Working closely with the client’s underground operations and electrical teams, our experienced crew safely delivered each stage of the works while coordinating around existing infrastructure, production activities and restricted work areas.
The scope included equipment and structural footings, concrete slabs, plinths, bunds, sumps, drainage structures and foundations for underground services and infrastructure. Works involved excavation and preparation, formwork, reinforcement installation, concrete placement and finishing, together with quality inspections and verification throughout construction.
Careful planning, effective communication and strict compliance with site safety requirements were essential to completing the works in a live underground environment. Rangecon’s ability to provide skilled personnel, specialised equipment and practical underground construction experience enabled the project to be delivered safely, efficiently and to the required engineering and quality standards.
